In the MES ASK, integration with adjacent/superior information systems (OIS products, SAP S4/HANA, ASTUE, etc.) has been implemented using various protocols (OLEDB/ODBC, REST API, OData). Data from these systems is available in MES ASK in various representations: schematics, trends, reports, and dashboards. For user convenience, links to external systems can be embedded in the system, which can be displayed either in the MES web portal frame or in a new browser tab. Links can be configured contextually, i.e., when navigating from an object in MES, the corresponding object opens in the external system.
