Project Management and Execution Control
Scheduled Maintenance
(SM) 2025
Task
Plan and execute work that requires a complete or partial shutdown of the field during the shutdown period of the GDU
Increase equipment reliability and ensure uninterrupted operation, prevent unscheduled shutdowns and shortfalls
Minimize additional oil losses during the complete shutdown due to limited production
Solution
- Preparation for SM 2025 began 6 months before the start of the shutdown
- The schedule of SM activities and required resources (human and technical) were developed with each service individually
- Weekly presentation materials were prepared reflecting the current status of preparation for SM (availability of MTR, construction readiness, sufficiency of human and technical resources, and other issues)
- Following the approval of activities, a calendar-network schedule (CNS) with resources was created to fix the plan and facts during SM
- During SM, data on actual work performance was entered daily into the CNS, and presentation materials were generated (plan/fact/forecast on the number of activities, total S-curves and by service, reasons for deviations)
Result
100% readiness for the start of SM has been ensured
SM was completed 5 days ahead of the planned schedule
